The Sagrado Galleria was established in Phoenix, Arizona in 2016 as a result of the lack of a physical presence and commitment to the arts as well as to the community in South Phoenix.
Our mission is to provide tools and opportunities that will EMPOWER COMMUNITY through art, culture and design.
OUR SACRED vision
To nurture the community of South Phoenix, while being a cultural bridge to embrace and preserve art & culture within the community.
Our vision is to empower community with skills needed to create social change through participation in urban development projects, having a voice through the arts, preserving cultural roots, and connecting to innovative skilled trades that are needed to provide true leadership/ownership.
In a short period of time, the Sagrado has had many accomplishments, in which it has increased the impact to South Phoenix. Through our series of workshops, art shows and events, Sagrado has touched the lives of over 1,200 community members.

OUR SYMBOLIC BRAID OF WORK FOCUS ON THE FOLLOWING THREE AREAS:
1. Create opportunities for economic development in the art community through the use of culture and skilled trades to identify and implement urban development projects. This allows for community members to be the designers and fabricators in the community.
2. Establish a model for future generations that will allow community and artists to have a strong voice by leading input in the arts, culture and design. This is vital when building communities through projects and development that involves the community while implementing their own vision.
3. Preserve our ancestral and cultural identity through the practice of our traditions while acknowledging the past and innovating through modern change. This will allow individuals to create new ideas into practice to meet new frontiers without jeopardizing our cultural past.
The Sagrado Galleria believes that art is an integral part of our lives and when shared in spaces that enable art to take center stage within the community it creates individual growth, cultural awareness and economic development. The Sagrado supports the artist community and promotes the importance of the inter-generational sharing of the arts while creating a platform for the further development of arts and culture in Phoenix. The Sagrado Galleria will continue to collaborate with artist to offer creative exposure to people of all ages in our community.
